JEA was retained by Radey Associates Architects, on behalf of the Woodbury School System, to provide site/civil engineering services associated with the replacement/construction of a new track, athletic fields, stadium, and parking lot at the Woodbury High School in Woodbury, N.J. The project involved the construction of a new 8-lane synthetic running track, track events (high & long/triple jump, pole vault, shot put, and discus), sod athletic fields (football, soccer, field hockey fields and practice football field areas), concrete stadium structure, hillside stabilization and retaining wall structures, parking lot reconstruction and reconfiguration, storm-water collection/treatment/conveyance system, replacement of a stormwater outfall structure within the Woodbury Creek, and re-vegetation/landscaping design. For this project, JEA was responsible for completion the property survey; geotechnical investigation; wetland delineation/permitting; NJDEP and Army Corp of Engineer permitting; civil/site and structural engineering design and documentation; stormwater management design; specifications, and land development approvals (NJDEP/Army Corp of Engineers/County/ local). JEA is currently assisting the School with bid and construction phase administration services. This $5 million construction project is anticipated to be completed by the fall of 2007.
