Stormwater Management System Replacement – Waterford Elementary School

February 3, 2018 by RMManager

Waterford Township Public School District, Waterford Township, Camden Co., NJ

JEA was retained by Waterford Township Public School District to provide civil engineering design services for the design of a new stormwater management system for the school’s campus to replace a failing existing system. The improvements included the design of new roofwater collection piping, new stormwater collection structures and conveyance piping, and new stormwater detention/infiltration basin. The new system was designed to comply with both the NJDEP Stormwater Regulations and the requirements of the NJ Pinelands Commission.. For this project, JEA was responsible for completion and preparation of a property survey; soils investigation and testing; site improvement designs; stormwater management design; landscaping design; and land development approvals. This project is anticipated to be completed in the summer of 2016.
