Lawn Crypt Feasibility Evaluation

County Line Road, Warminster, PA

JEA was retained by the Diocese of Philadelphia to perform a feasibility evaluation of installing double-depth lawn crypts (pre-need burial vaults) in two (2) sections of the cemetery. The Cemetery desired to install double-depth, precast concrete, lawn crypts and sought an evaluation of existing soil/rock and groundwater conditions and assessment of feasibility for installing these crypts. For this project, JEA was responsible for completion and oversight of exploratory test pits, evaluation of soil/rock/groundwater conditions, estimate of soil and rock excavation/drainage system installation/crypt installation costs, evaluation of permitting requirements, preparation of a feasibility report, and meeting with the Diocese and Cemetery staff to review and discuss the findings.
