Elementary School- Borough of Somerdale, Camden County, NJ
JEA was retained on behalf of the Somerdale Board of Education to provide site/civil engineering services associated with Phase I of various site & drainage improvements at the Somerdale Park Elementary School. The Phase I improvements consisted of the installation of new stormwater collection devices, downspout collection systems, network of conveyance piping, new curbing along the street frontage, replacement of sidewalks, and re-grading lawn and access areas to provide positive surface drainage. For this project, JEA was responsible for preparation of a property survey; site improvement designs; stormwater management design; landscaping; specifications, and land development approvals. JEA assisted the School with bid and construction phase administration services during construction, which was completed in the summer of 2006.
