JEA was retained to provide civil/site engineering services associated with the design of roadway improvements along approximately 1.2 miles of access and circulation roadways and parking areas throughout this 48 acre campus to correct failing pavement conditions and drainage problems. The proposed roadway improvements consisted repair & restoration of damaged pavement and subbase, milling and overlay, installation of pavement reinforcement fabric, repair of stormwater inlets, replacement of damaged curb and sidewalk, restriping of parking areas, speed humps, traffic control signage and pavement markings. For this project, JEA was responsible for completion of a pavement evaluation, design of pavement improvements, and preparation of site improvement plans for bidding and construction.
