Sycamore & Louis Streets, Camden, NJ- Phase I and II
JEA has been retained by Saint Joseph’s Carpenters Society and the Oasis Development Corporation to provide civil engineering services associated with the redevelopment of numerous vacant parcels on Sycamore Street and Louis Streets with new residential housing. The project was financed through State funding and consisted of two phases. Phase I consisted of the subdivision of the vacant parcels into eight (8) new residential lots; construction of eight (8) single family townhouse style dwellings, off street parking, utility improvements, and landscaping; and construction of street improvements. Phase II consisted of the subdivision of the vacant parcels into two (2) new residential lots; construction of twin style single family dwelling, off street parking, utility improvements, and landscaping; and construction of street improvements. For this project, JEA is responsible for completion and preparation of a property survey; geotechnical investigation; Phase I Environmental Site Assessments; subdivision plan; alley vacation plans; site improvement plans; utility/drainage/landscaping/lighting design; Planning Board testimony; and land development approvals.
