Mount Olive Manor, Mt. Olive Township, Morris Co., NJ
JEA was retained to provide site/civil engineering services associated with the construction of a three story, 50-unit, income restricted, independent living, senior housing building addition to the existing Mt. Olive Manor, a three story, 60 unit, senior housing apartment building complex in the Mt. Olive Township. The project, which was supported by HUD funding, consisted of the construction of the new three-story building addition, parking reconfiguration & expansion, storm-water management system with water quality treatment measures, extensive landscaping, lighting, utilities, and fire access lane extension. Additionally, the project required a Letter of Interpretation for verification of wetland delineation and a Statewide General Permit #6 from the N.J.D.E.P. For this project, JEA was responsible for completion and preparation of a property survey; wetland delineation; wetland permitting; site improvement plans; utility/drainage/ landscaping/lighting design; design of stormwater management system to comply with the N.J.D.E.P. Stormwater Management Rules (N.J.A.C. 7:8); Planning Board testimony; and land development approvals. Construction of this project is anticipated to commence in the summer of 2006.
