JEA has been retained by the Dr. Thomas Helwig, D.M.D. to provide site/civil engineering services associated with obtaining land development approvals for the conversion of an existing dwelling into a dental office. The project consisted of 2,800 s.f +/ building conversion and construction of a stone parking lot, stormwater management system, landscaping, and parking lot lighting. For this project, JEA was responsible for completion and preparation of a property survey; soils testing/ percolation tests; site improvement plans; drainage/landscape/lighting design; Planning Board testimony; and land development approvals. The office is anticipated to be open in the fall/winter of 2007.

Clayton Veterinary Associates –Veterinary Clinic

JEA was retained by the Clayton Veterinary Associates to provide land planning and civil engineering services associated with the construction of a new veterinarian clinic at their existing facility in Clayton, NJ. JEA had provided preliminary site planning and engineering design services for the facility prior to the owner’s decision to cease pursuit of land development approvals.
Tri-County Animal Emergency Hospital
Kings Highway, Woolwich Township, Gloucester County, NJ
JEA has been retained by the Swedesboro Animal Hospital to provide land planning and civil engineering services associated with the expansion of the existing veterinarian clinic and retail animal supply store. The expansion will enable the facility to serve as a 24 hour emergency animal hospital, expand the size of the retail supply store, and provide onsite, temporary sleeping quarters for doctors and staff that are on call. The project consists of 5,000 s.f +/- building expansion; reconfiguration & expansion of the parking lot; relocation & expansion of the septic system; new stormwater management system (including water quality control measures); landscaping; and new parking/security lighting. For this project, JEA was responsible for completion and preparation of a property survey; geotechnical investigation; percolation tests; traffic study; environmental impact statement; community impact statement; Phase I Environmental Site Assessment; site improvement plans; roadway improvement plans; utility/drainage/lighting design; Planning Board testimony; and land development approvals.
