JEA was retained to provide site/civil engineering services associated with the renovation of an existing industrial building into an dicalite processing facility. This redevelopment project included the renovation of approximately 72,000 s.f. building, future office addition, equipment silos and loading facilities, truck access and circulation driveway, reconfiguration of parking area, relocation of site entrance, stormwater management facilities, utility upgrades, lighting, landscaping, and fencing. This project also involved coordination with the site’s LSRP and design of soil management and engineering capping measures. For this project, JEA was responsible for completion and preparation of a property survey and geotechnical investigation; site improvement plans; utility/drainage/ landscaping/lighting/ stormwater management system design; roadway improvements, and land use permitting. Construction is anticipated to be completed in the summer of 2018.
