First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown
(Office Space, Youth Activity Rooms, and Daycare Building Expansion)

JEA was retained by the Radey Associates Architects, on behalf of the Church, to provide site/civil engineering services associated with the expansion of the existing church facility to provide additional office space, youth activity rooms, and daycare facilities. The expansion consisted of three (3) separate building additions totaling approximately 13,000 s.f. in area. In addition to building expansion, the project entailed the realignment of existing driveways; parking lot reconfiguration; installation of a new sanitary sewer grinder pump station and force main piping; design of stormwater management system to comply with the N.J.D.E.P. Stormwater Management Rules (N.J.A.C. 7:8); use of innovative Best Management Practices (including rain gardens and no closed conduit conveyance systems)for storm water quality control; extensive landscaping; and new parking/security lighting. For this project, JEA was responsible for completion and preparation of a soils evaluation/percolation testing; site improvement plans; roadway improvement plans; stormwater management design; utility/drainage/landscaping design; Planning Board testimony; and land development approvals.
Community Bible Church of Barrington
(Parking Lot Improvements)
Borough of Barrington, Camden Co., NJ
JEA was retained to provide site/civil engineering services associated with the construction of parking lot modifications at the facility. The project involved the asphalt paving of an existing stone parking lot; installation of a storm-water collection/conveyance system; landscaping; and erosion stabilization measures. For this project, JEA was responsible for completion and preparation of a property survey; site improvement plans; grading/drainage/ landscaping design; land development permits; and presentation to the Borough Planning Board. The parking lot was successfully completed in the fall of 2007.
