JEA has been retained by the St. Catherine of Siena Parish and the Diocese of Camden to provide site/civil engineering services associated with the expansion of the school and site improvements to accommodate the consolidation of St. Catherine of Siena Regional School of Clayton and St. Bridget’s Catholic School of Glassboro at this facility. The project consisted of a modular building addition containing ten (10) classrooms; building additions to serve as a connection link between the existing school and modular building; a 1,000 s.f. building addition for expansion of the existing kitchen; reconfiguration and expansion of the parking lot and traffic circulation; new playground; relocation of utility services; new walkways; fencing; lighting; and landscaping. For this project, JEA was responsible for completion and preparation of a property survey; site improvement designs; lighting & landscaping design; and land development approvals. JEA also prepared bid documents and provided bid & construction phase administration services. This project was initiated in the Spring of 2008 and completed on a fast-track basis to enable opening of the facility for the start of school in September 2008.
