JEA is currently providing design phase services associated with site/civil engineering and landscape architectural services to the NJSDA and project architect for the proposed expansion of the Orange High School with the construction of a 50,677 +/- s.f. addition. The site improvements include building addition, construction of enclosed walkway bridge between buildings, reconfiguration of parking area and access drives, establishment of a trash/loading/service area, relocation of existing greenhouse, utility services, security fencing, ADA accessible parking and access walkways, rain gardens, and lighting. With this work, JEA evaluated and designed ADA accessible walkways & ramps, egress paths, service areas, rain gardens, security perimeter fencing, and best management practices associated with site improvements. JEA also provided landscape architectural services including design of landscaping for decorative, foundation, parking, and shade/street applications; selection and layout of plants for rain garden features; plant selection; and construction related notes. For this project, JEA is responsible for preparation of site and landscaping design and associated plans and land use permit applications. During this project, JEA is working with the Project Architect and design team, NJSDA representatives, and local municipal and utility representatives.
